This wedding ceremony singer from Northern Ireland had a very busy wedding weekend. Had a fantastic night on Friday playing at a wedding reception for Northern Ireland bride at the Four Winds in South Belfast. She was so lucky with the weather, despite the threat of rain, bit a drop fell! So wedding ceremonies are in full swing now and if you are still looking for a singer for the church, chapel, registrar office or the hotel, I still have some spaces left. Remember I play classical violin at wedding ceremonies as well as singing and playing guitar. I am also available to perform at a wedding ceremony during the week as well as weekends all over Belfast and Northern Ireland. |

Definitely four seasons in one day in Belfast, Northern Ireland today! For all you brides and grooms out there, it would be pretty tricky to know what is coming next. There have even been hail stones! However, as a wedding singer who has performed at wedding ceremonies in all weather all over Northern Ireland, I can say that I have never met a bride or groom who had their special day ruined by the weather.
So, what is your favourite song to have performed at either your wedding ceremony or your wedding reception? More often than not, I get asked to perform a song that has some special meaning to the couple. However, I am also a violin player and as a wedding musician I also get asked to perform some wonderful classics like Canon in D. This can be extremely atmospheric on solo violin. Don't forget, if you would like an Irish session at your drinks reception, I can arrange several other wedding musician to perform with me. Have a little listen to us perform a fantastic song for your wedding ceremony or wedding reception. Remember as wedding musicians and wedding singers, we are happy to travel all over Northern Ireland. For wedding singers around Northern Ireland the wedding season is really in full flow! This is the start of one of the busiest seasons for us wedding singers. I will be busy performing at church wedding ceremonies, chapel wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, church blessings, any type of ceremony celebrating love really, all over Belfast and all over Northern Ireland. In fact I have had requests to perform in Donegal and Wicklow! Have guitar, will travel and perform as a church wedding singer all over Ireland! Lol!
I have a few spaces for those last minute brides and grooms who need a helping hand but I'm pretty busy for the next little while. Not only am I performing at wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions, this musician from Belfast, Northern Ireland has a busy couple of weeks with Belfast folk band, 'The Dandy Horses'. We are preparing for a huge fund raiser in The Black Box, Belfast for Ethiopiaid. After our little trip in March we have decided to raise some money for the people over there. Catch us on Friday 19th June 2015 in The Black Box. Also, found an old photo of the original The Dandy Horse line up. This wedding singer is having a ball at the moment. Beautiful Northern Ireland wedding weather! My garden in Belfast is just blooming. The daffodils, bluebells and tulips are in full bloom and the bright colours got me thinking about the perfect wedding bouquet. Brides around Northern Ireland have such spectacular wedding bouquets and so many different styles and colours. However, my favourite wedding bouquets really are the bright vibrant colours of Spring and Summer. And no wedding ceremony would be complete without wedding flowers.
Of course, we can't forget wedding music. This wedding singer and wedding musician from Northern Ireland loves her job and is already taking bookings for wedding ceremonies in 2017. Don't leave your bookings to the last minute. remember I will work as a wedding singer and wedding musician all over Northern Ireland, not only in Belfast.
So for this wedding singer from Northern Ireland, the time has nearly arrived for me to jet off to foreign shores. I'm not working as a wedding ceremony singer in Belfast or anywhere else in Northern Ireland this weekend, I'm off to Ethiopia to perform at the Irish Embassy gala ball with the fabulous 'The Dandy Horses'! Really looking forward to getting my short sleeves on and enjoying the lovely warms weather.
Before I head off though, I am busy replying to all the lovely brides and grooms getting in touch with me about their wedding day. Dates are filling up but there are still some weekends free for wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions all around Northern Ireland. Remember I do offer some wonderful wedding packages which include wedding ceremony singer and singer and musician for pre-dinner drinks also. You can check out my packages here. So what a busy wedding singer I was this weekend. On Sunday I spent the day at the Perfect Bliss wedding Fayre in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, serenading lots of excited brides and grooms. It seems that a lot of people forget about organising a wedding ceremony singer until very close to the wedding. However, I was only too happy to offer my wedding singer services to the happy couples.
Favourite wedding ceremony songs still seem to be Ed Sheeran 'Thinking Out Loud' and Christins Perri 'A Thousand Years'. I sang theses several times, much to the delight of the passing brides. I was also delighted to be working with Geraldine from perfect Bliss weddings for the first time. They organise wedding fayres all over Northern Ireland and were an absolute delight to work with. So organised! Just what I like! I also met some other great vendors during the show. Here is me getting warmed up! It is amazing how busy this Northern Ireland wedding singer has been with church and chapel wedding ceremony enquiries! In fact, I have had several brides want to make church ceremony bookings for the same day. That really doesn't happen very often! Lol. I always hate having to say no too, I'd rather be able to perform at all the church wedding ceremonies that I can. It keeps me on my toes and keeps my fingers nimble for the fiddle too.
I am also really busy getting ready to leave Belfast, Northern Ireland and head to Ethiopia with The Dandy Horses for our big Irish Embassy gig in Addis Abbaba. Heading off in less than 5 weeks. I love playing withe the guys in the band as they are such talented and versatile musicians. We generally perform all original songs and music, but we also perform at weddings receptions when the notion takes us. If you are interested in booking them, just get in touch with me and I'll see if we can help. The band will perform at church wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and receptions. So hard to believe it is almost a year since the launch of our last EP, 'Hat On The Sun'. Sometimes working as a self-employed wedding singer in Belfast and around Northern Ireland can bring to me some really beautiful locations, it can also allow me to meet some really interesting people and musicians. This week I have been asked to perform with another wedding musician at a wedding ceremony. I don't know this musician yet, but I always look forward to meeting other like minded people and getting the opportunity to work when them and see what take they have on popular wedding hymns.
I've also been working on a few arrangements for a wedding fayre coming up soon. I am looking at wedding ceremony music for religious and non religious ceremonies and adding in a little bit of mandolin. A friend of mine has thankfully agreed to perform with me. It also means I won't have to travel around Northern Ireland on my own for this one! Don't forget, you can catch me performing at the Perfect Bliss Wedding Fayre in Lisburn on Sunday 8th March. Loads of discounts and offers will be available! |
