This wedding singer from Belfast, Northern Ireland has been soooooooo busy with wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions! Last Saturday I had the pleasure of performing at a beautiful civil wedding ceremony in Larch field Estate, Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Then yesterday I travelled to Donegal to perfrom at a religious wedding ceremony in a chapel in a charming little village. As always both brides looked absolutely beautiful. Sometimes it is nice to travel out of Northern Ireland and experience other wedding venues around Ireland. This wedding singer from Northern Ireland was also lucky to get a little live video of me performing the wedding ceremony favourite 'As I Kneel Before You'. Doesn't sound too bad for a little video taken on my phone. Don't forget, I still have availability for wedding dates mid-week in July and August and a few weekends. Don't leave it too late to book this Northern ireland wedding singer! |

Definitely four seasons in one day in Belfast, Northern Ireland today! For all you brides and grooms out there, it would be pretty tricky to know what is coming next. There have even been hail stones! However, as a wedding singer who has performed at wedding ceremonies in all weather all over Northern Ireland, I can say that I have never met a bride or groom who had their special day ruined by the weather.
So, what is your favourite song to have performed at either your wedding ceremony or your wedding reception? More often than not, I get asked to perform a song that has some special meaning to the couple. However, I am also a violin player and as a wedding musician I also get asked to perform some wonderful classics like Canon in D. This can be extremely atmospheric on solo violin. Don't forget, if you would like an Irish session at your drinks reception, I can arrange several other wedding musician to perform with me. Have a little listen to us perform a fantastic song for your wedding ceremony or wedding reception. Remember as wedding musicians and wedding singers, we are happy to travel all over Northern Ireland. Another old photo for this wedding singer from Northern Ireland. One of my first wedding ceremonies nearly 10 years ago. I performed violin in a beautiful little church in England. Such a beautiful wedding ceremony and always lovely to get away from Northern Ireland and lovely Belfast for a bit of time. However, I spent last week getting ready for a church wedding ceremony. There were quite a few new songs for this wedding singer to learn and I've now added them to my repertoire too. All I Need Is Love by The Beatles is a perfect wedding song. Not to forget This I Promise You by Ronan Keating. So many great wedding songs perfect for the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. I'm looking forward to singing these at churches and chapels and civil venues all over Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland weather has surprised us again and has turned pretty nasty this weekend. However, this wedding singer from Northern Ireland is loving it. I had a great gig with The Dandy Horses last night in The John Hewitt and today I am preparing for a wedding ceremony that will be taking place in Dublin in the next few weeks. Wedding season for wedding singers, brides and grooms is really in full flow and the weather won't stop everyone having a ball! I also had a chance to go through some old wedding ceremony photos and have a look at some of the work this wedding singer from Belfast, Northern Ireland has done over the last years. I found this really old photo of my performing as a church / chapel singer at a wedding singer in Dublin 2005. I've been doing the wedding musician thing for quite a while now. Lol. For wedding singers around Northern Ireland the wedding season is really in full flow! This is the start of one of the busiest seasons for us wedding singers. I will be busy performing at church wedding ceremonies, chapel wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, church blessings, any type of ceremony celebrating love really, all over Belfast and all over Northern Ireland. In fact I have had requests to perform in Donegal and Wicklow! Have guitar, will travel and perform as a church wedding singer all over Ireland! Lol!
I have a few spaces for those last minute brides and grooms who need a helping hand but I'm pretty busy for the next little while. Not only am I performing at wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions, this musician from Belfast, Northern Ireland has a busy couple of weeks with Belfast folk band, 'The Dandy Horses'. We are preparing for a huge fund raiser in The Black Box, Belfast for Ethiopiaid. After our little trip in March we have decided to raise some money for the people over there. Catch us on Friday 19th June 2015 in The Black Box. Also, found an old photo of the original The Dandy Horse line up. Wow.... great Northern Ireland weather and particularly lovely for all those brides and grooms around the country! Doesn't matter whether you want a church wedding or a civil service in Belfast or somewhere else in beautiful Northern Ireland, this wedding singer is happy to travel, especially when the weather is so perfectly wonderful. I have performed at a few outdoor wedding ceremonies and the sun was splitting the sky. You wouldn't have thought you were even in Northern Ireland, but miles away in some hot tropical paradise. Then again, for this Northern Ireland and Belfast wedding singer, sometimes being at home in Belfast is paradise!
This wedding singer is having a ball at the moment. Beautiful Northern Ireland wedding weather! My garden in Belfast is just blooming. The daffodils, bluebells and tulips are in full bloom and the bright colours got me thinking about the perfect wedding bouquet. Brides around Northern Ireland have such spectacular wedding bouquets and so many different styles and colours. However, my favourite wedding bouquets really are the bright vibrant colours of Spring and Summer. And no wedding ceremony would be complete without wedding flowers.
Of course, we can't forget wedding music. This wedding singer and wedding musician from Northern Ireland loves her job and is already taking bookings for wedding ceremonies in 2017. Don't leave your bookings to the last minute. remember I will work as a wedding singer and wedding musician all over Northern Ireland, not only in Belfast.
