| What a busy little wedding singer from Belfast I was this weekend! I was singing at a beautiful wedding ceremony in Lisburn, Belfast, Northern Ireland yesterday and today, I was rehearsing with the fantastic wedding band, Trinity Traditional Trio. I play with two other fantastic wedding musicians and we were rehearsing for a wedding ceremony we are performing at next weekend. At the end of the rehearsal we got a cracker little video! Beautiful version of Neil Young's, Harvest Moon! Remember, I am still taking bookings for your wedding ceremony and wedding reception into 2017 now. I am happy to sing in a chapel, church, castle, cave! Anywhere. |

Another old photo for this wedding singer from Northern Ireland. One of my first wedding ceremonies nearly 10 years ago. I performed violin in a beautiful little church in England. Such a beautiful wedding ceremony and always lovely to get away from Northern Ireland and lovely Belfast for a bit of time. However, I spent last week getting ready for a church wedding ceremony. There were quite a few new songs for this wedding singer to learn and I've now added them to my repertoire too. All I Need Is Love by The Beatles is a perfect wedding song. Not to forget This I Promise You by Ronan Keating. So many great wedding songs perfect for the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. I'm looking forward to singing these at churches and chapels and civil venues all over Northern Ireland. The wedding singer business around Belfast and Northern Ireland is booming! Spring has well and truly arrived and requests are coming in daily for wedding ceremonies in chapels, churches, castles and hotels all around Northern Ireland!
This wedding singer has a very busy weekend lined up for her this weekend. I am performing at The Empires, Belfast, Northern Ireland tomorrow afternoon with the fantastic The Dandy Horses as part of the Belnash Festival for singer songwriters in Northern Ireland. Then on Sunday I am performing at a wedding fayre at the Island Civic Centre in Lisburn. Would love to see some of you there! It is a great way of hearing what I do in an informal setting. Playing between 2pm and 5pm. It is amazing how busy this Northern Ireland wedding singer has been with church and chapel wedding ceremony enquiries! In fact, I have had several brides want to make church ceremony bookings for the same day. That really doesn't happen very often! Lol. I always hate having to say no too, I'd rather be able to perform at all the church wedding ceremonies that I can. It keeps me on my toes and keeps my fingers nimble for the fiddle too.
I am also really busy getting ready to leave Belfast, Northern Ireland and head to Ethiopia with The Dandy Horses for our big Irish Embassy gig in Addis Abbaba. Heading off in less than 5 weeks. I love playing withe the guys in the band as they are such talented and versatile musicians. We generally perform all original songs and music, but we also perform at weddings receptions when the notion takes us. If you are interested in booking them, just get in touch with me and I'll see if we can help. The band will perform at church wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and receptions. So hard to believe it is almost a year since the launch of our last EP, 'Hat On The Sun'. I was a very busy little wedding singer yesterday. I started very early as I had to travel quite a distance in Northern Ireland to
get to my final destination. I always love a little trip away from Belfast. There are so many beautiful wedding venues, churches and castles around our lovely country. Belfast Castle is a favourite of mine, although I also love Crom Castle in Co Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Then straight back home again to lovely Belfast for a rehearsal with the Dandy Horses for a little rehearsal for performance at the Irish Embassy in Ethiopia. We were discussing perhaps putting ourselves forward to perform at a Wedding Fair in Belfast. Do you think theses are worth while? Then I was working on my own wedding singer repertoire! I learnt a few new songs for a church wedding ceremony in Belfast, S'omewhere Over The Rainbow' and 'How Great Thou Art' Remember, if you are looking for a violin player for your church wedding ceremony or a civil service somewhere in Northern Ireland, I can offer a complete music wedding package. Just get in touch for prices if you are looking for something that i isn't on my option list. It's Friday!!! Don't you love Fridays? The weekend is ahead and so many exciting things to do. Tomorrow I'll be travelling a
little further afield than Belfast, exploring the beauties of Northern Ireland and perhaps helping a happy bride and groom enjoy their special wedding day ceremony. I performed at a church wedding ceremony at the Mussenden Temple, Castlerock a few years ago. An absolutely beautiful wedding ceremony, perched on the top of the hill. Have you any favourite spots in Northern Ireland? So fantastic spending my weekends as a wedding singer. Lol. Don't forget all wedding singer bookings made in January have a 10% discount. I can also play at church ceremonies and civil partnerships during the week. I got some fantastic news today!! The weekend of 21st March, I won't be in Belfast, I won't even be in Northern Ireland... I
have been invited by the Irish Embassy, as a member of The Dandy Horses to go to Ethiopia and perform at their annual gala ball in Addis Ababa. We will be performing for dignitaries and everything! So excited!!!!! Thankfully, that is one weekend when I didn't have any wedding ceremonies or wedding receptions booked yet. So I will have to keep it free. Don't forget, 10% discount off church wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships & wedding receptions if booked before the end of January! |
