Wedding Singer performing at ceremony in Larchfield Northern Ireland Performing at a wedding ceremony in Belfast or around Northern Ireland is a real pleasure and I had the privilege of being invited to sing as a soloist at the religious wedding ceremony of Emma and Martin in Larchfield Estate in June this year. They were lucky they had such a beautiful day and you can see me hiding over in the corner trying to stay out of the sun. Emma very kindly sent me through some photos of their wedding and they really look fantastic! Such a lovely couple! Remember, I am now taking bookings for 2017. I am happy to perform as a soloist at your civil wedding ceremony or religious ceremony. I also play solo violin and guitar. Perfect wedding day music!

Definitely four seasons in one day in Belfast, Northern Ireland today! For all you brides and grooms out there, it would be pretty tricky to know what is coming next. There have even been hail stones! However, as a wedding singer who has performed at wedding ceremonies in all weather all over Northern Ireland, I can say that I have never met a bride or groom who had their special day ruined by the weather.
So, what is your favourite song to have performed at either your wedding ceremony or your wedding reception? More often than not, I get asked to perform a song that has some special meaning to the couple. However, I am also a violin player and as a wedding musician I also get asked to perform some wonderful classics like Canon in D. This can be extremely atmospheric on solo violin. Don't forget, if you would like an Irish session at your drinks reception, I can arrange several other wedding musician to perform with me. Have a little listen to us perform a fantastic song for your wedding ceremony or wedding reception. Remember as wedding musicians and wedding singers, we are happy to travel all over Northern Ireland. Well the rain may be pouring in Belfast, Northern Ireland today, but that didn't stop this wedding ceremony singer getting to the church on time and it definitely didn't stop the bride getting to the church either! I was performing at a beautiful religious ceremony at Holy Cross Chapel, Crumlin Rd, Belfast today. As always the bride looked absolutely beautiful and the priest was a very welcoming chap.
I had never been to this chapel before and it was a very grand venue for a wedding ceremony. The acoustics were fantastic and the violin sounded so sweet when I was performing my new instrumental, Ave Maria by Bach on solo violin. I certainly enjoyed being able to perfrom several pieces on the solo violin as well as working as wedding singer. Brides often ask for a little advice about what they should have performed on their big day. Everyone will be different. However, I think a bit of variety is always lovely. So a wedding singer and also a wedding musician. I love getting the chance to play solo violin and also sing and play guitar. perhaps an instrumental of Canon in D for walking down the aisle and perhaps Lord of the Dance for a triumphant exit. Remember. very often priests will only allow hymns to be sung at the ceremony. However, you can often get away with an instrumental version of a popular song. Today I played and instrumental version of One Thousand Years by Christina Perri for the entrance. Perfect! So it is all confirmed! I will be appearing at the Perfect Bliss Wedding Event in Lisburn, Northern Ireland on Sun 8th March. For those of you not too familiar with Northern Ireland, Lisburn is very close to Belfast and so you can pop down and have a little listen to me doing my thing as a wedding singer. The event has loads of other wonderful bits and pieces for your perfect wedding day. So you won't only hear wedding ceremony singers, wedding bands, wedding reception singers and musicians, but the place will be filled with flowers and pretty things too!
It all kicks off at 2pm at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn, Northern Ireland and runs until 5pm. It really will be a great day and you will get to hear me perform loads of wedding songs and play the solo violin. I might also have a few other wedding musicians and singers pop in and perform with me to let you hear what else Noeleen Cosgrove Music can offer you. There will also be great discounts on the day! I had the great pleasure of performing at this beautiful Belfast bride's wedding over Christmas. We had a fantastic afternoon in Belfast City Hall, Northern Ireland, before heading to a local restaurant where I had the great pleasure of performing with The Dandy Horses at the evening function. As much as I love being a wedding singer around Northern Ireland, it is sometimes just fantastic to be able to get a chance to play with such a great band and with my friends! I'm looking forward to jetting off from Belfast, Northern Ireland to sing in Ethiopia at the Irish Embassy at the end of March. Also, I've been busy getting things sorted for a wedding exhibition coming up in Lisburn Civic Centre on Sunday 8th March. If you want to hear me doing my wedding singer thing, you can catch me there between 2 and 5pm. There will be all sorts of great wedding music discounts! Remember, I will travel and sing at wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships all over Northern Ireland! Finally... have a listen to A Thousand Years - recorded in my living room. Maybe I could sing this at your wedding? So a busy weekend this weekend! As well as all the usual wedding ceremony and wedding reception bits and pieces, this wedding singer also had a rehearsal with the fabulous 'The Dandy Horses' for our big trip to Ethiopia to perform for the Irish Embassy. That went on quite late but was great fun. We are leaving Belfast, Northern Ireland on Thursday 19th March for 5 days. So no wedding ceremony in Belfast that weekend. However, if you are looking for a wedding singer for your ceremony or reception that weekend get in touch as I can recommend a few people.
Then, today, as generally I have no wedding ceremonies to perform at, I decided to do a wee home recording. A Thousand Years is such a beautiful song and a really popular one around Belfast and in fact throughout Northern Ireland, so I decided to record a cover of it my living room on the laptop. I'm also planning to perform an instrumental version at a wedding ceremony in Belfast very soon. Have a wee listen... Well I was recently asked to play this song for a wedding ceremony in Belfast, Northern Ireland.. Such a beautiful song, the true sentiment of love and a perfect wedding song! That is one of the joys of working as a wedding singer. I get to learn beautiful new songs that I otherwise wouldn't get the time to learn. Now, I'm actually going to play this on the violin and is it sounding really great... but I thought sure I might as well learn a few chords and lyrics. I'm sure this will prove very popular at other wedding ceremonies around Northern Ireland and will fit perfectly into my repertoire for the predinner drinks reception too. What are your favourite songs for wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions? Have you been to any weddings around Belfast or Northern Ireland where the wedding singer sang something completely inappropriate? Lol... |
