This wedding singer from Belfast, Northern Ireland has been very busy over the last little while.  Wedding season is well under way and I have been performing at wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions all over Belfast and Northern Ireland. I even performed at a wedding ceremony in Donegal recently. As a wedding singer and wedding musician, I get the opportunity to visit so many different wedding venues, large small, casual and some very grand.  I came across this little spot and thought it would be a very cute little place to have a wedding ceremony.  Of course, you couldn't have many guests and you would be totally dependent on Northern Ireland weather!  And this wedding singer from Belfast, Northern Ireland does not like to get wet!
I've also been very busy performing with The Dandy Horses.  I often play as a wedding band around Northern Ireland with other members of the band, but this week we spent a couple of days in Millbank Studio, Lisburn, Northern Ireland, completing our first album.  Exciting times!

Definitely four seasons in one day in Belfast, Northern Ireland today!   For all you brides and grooms out there, it would be pretty  tricky to know what is coming next.   There have even been hail stones! However, as a wedding singer who has performed at wedding ceremonies in all weather all over Northern Ireland, I can say that I have never met a bride or groom who had their special day ruined by the weather.  
So, what is your favourite song to have performed at either your wedding ceremony or your wedding reception?  More often than not, I get asked to perform a song that has some special meaning to the couple.  However, I am also a violin player and as a wedding musician I also get asked to perform some wonderful classics like Canon in D.  This can be extremely atmospheric on solo violin.

Another old photo for this wedding singer from Northern Ireland.  One of my first wedding ceremonies nearly 10 years ago.  I performed violin in a beautiful little church in England.  Such a beautiful wedding ceremony and always lovely to get away from Northern Ireland and lovely Belfast for a bit of time.
However, I spent last week getting ready for a church wedding ceremony.  There were quite a few new songs for this wedding singer to learn and I've now added them to my repertoire too.  All I Need Is Love by The Beatles is a perfect wedding song.  Not to forget This I Promise You by Ronan Keating.  So many great wedding songs perfect for the wedding ceremony and wedding reception.  I'm looking forward to singing these at churches and chapels and civil venues all over Northern Ireland. 

So what a busy wedding singer I was this weekend.  On Sunday I spent the day at the Perfect Bliss wedding Fayre in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, serenading lots of excited brides and grooms.  It seems that a lot of people forget about organising a wedding ceremony singer until very close to the wedding.  However, I was only too happy to offer my wedding singer services to the happy couples.
Favourite wedding ceremony songs still seem to be Ed Sheeran 'Thinking Out Loud' and Christins Perri 'A  Thousand Years'.  I sang theses several times, much to the delight of the passing brides.
I was also delighted to be working with Geraldine from perfect Bliss weddings for the first time.  They organise wedding fayres all over Northern Ireland and were an absolute delight to work with.  So organised!  Just what I like! I also met some other great vendors during the show.
